Timberborn is a beaver-themed city builder game with colony simulation elements developed by Mechanistry. Beavers have inherited the earth after mankind turned the earth into a dry wasteland and perished themselves along with most of the life on earth, but some fought to stay alive the beavers were resilient and adapted to the new environment they found themselves in. Make use of a unique architecture system that takes advantage of wooden machinery, dams, and water physics. Pick a faction to play as the nature-friendly Folktails or the industrious Iron Teeth, each of them has a unique playstyle, how long will your colony last?  

• The seasons are harsh in Timberborn you must prepare the settlement every time for recurring droughts stockpile food to keep fields and forests alive even after the rivers dry up. You must rely on both natural and artificial sources of irrigation to keep the land arable.
• Use thousands of years of beaver intuition and knowledge of water engineering to build the most powerful dams and floodgates dig up canals using explosives and redirect the flow of rivers to bring life back to the wasteland.
• Wood is your core resource in Timberborn you use it as water mills, sawmills, and shredders but the most valuable material you use for the building is metal you can’t just find it anywhere your beaver scavengers have to find them in the ruins of the old world.
• Space is limited as a river-dwelling civilization in order to save space you must build with a vertical architecture system in mind stack lodges on top of each other, construct platforms and bridges, and set up a working power grid for your growing population.
• While efficiency is important the beaver’s life is not just sleeping and chopping wood, they will need to satisfy the needs of your rodents a balanced diet, decorations, monuments, and more is needed if you want to keep their spirits up.
