The Surge is an action role-playing video game developed by Deck13 and published by Focus Home Interactive. Set in a near-future dystopian Earth where the world’s resources have been exhausted. The planet once called home is not what it used to be. You will play the hero that is fitted with an exo-suit as well as cybernetic implants that are supposed to be used for employment in the company CREO. Since work is hard to come by in Earth’s current state, you consider yourself lucky. However, you meet an accident on the first day of the job and upon waking up find yourself in the not-so-good part of the corporation. Good thing you have your exo-suit because this will help you survive what’s in store for you in the CREO complex. Enemies are not easy to defeat, you would have to study their movements before going on the attack. Attacks are based on stamina, so they are quite limited. The game also focuses on tactical melee combat and includes an endless combination of armor and weapons. Looting and crafting are also available in order for you to improve your rigs.
