The Quarry is a 3D FMV style choices-matter survival horror video game developed by Supermassive Games known for their work on the Dark Pictures Anthology series. Sunsets on the last day of the summer camp of Hackett’s Quarry, nine teenage counselors decide to stay a bit more to throw a party and celebrate however, things quickly turn for the worst when the blood-drenched locals started hunting them and something far more sinister seems to be lurking in the woods, waiting and watching. You will be able to play as each of the nine camp counselors, every decision you make shapes a story that is uniquely your own whether it be friendly banter, flirtation, or life and death situations. Any character can become the star of the show or will they all die before daylight comes?

The Quarry is a tense horror adventure with incredibly likable characters and some effective scares. The central mystery is fun to figure out, and the game doesn’t take itself too seriously. While there are a few hiccups, you can either work around them or ignore them as they’re not so major as to detract from the overall experience. This is Supermassive’s best work yet.
