Tavern Master is a medieval tavern management game developed by Untitled Studio, you are put in charge of maintaining and running your very own cozy little tavern building. Improve it by buying new tables, benches, barrels, restocking your drinks constantly, hiring more staff, etc. there’s always something new to improve. Make your guests happy most of all, always have enough drinks and seats for everyone there are always different directions to go when improving like building kitchens to cook for costumers, hiring musicians to sing great ballads, and Special events to attract special costumers.

  • As mentioned, before you will have plenty of tools to use to make the perfect tavern, many varieties of walls, floors, fences, stairs, and furniture’s making every tavern you build somewhat unique in its own way. But in order to buy those you still need to earn a lot of money.
  • Efficiency is important if you want to serve everyone on a busy night, make sure you have enough lights and tables, make sure they are arranged in a way that doesn’t obstruct the optimized routes for your servers and customers.
  • Once customers are full and drunk, they might want to stay if you have rooms available, they are graded from one – five which will determine how much money you can earn if they stay in them, it is up to you how you want to optimize them do you want to make a large cheap room with several beds in them, or several small rooms with expensive furniture’s.
  • Ultimately it’s up to you how you want to play the game, you can spend your time just making sure a tavern looks aesthetically pleasing, you can work towards maximizing revenues by readjusting seats and adjusting prices and salaries, or go ham on the beds and just make an inn and scrap the bar and kitchens.

Reviews

Tavern Master is a pretty simple and straightforward game at heart. There’s not much in the way of frills, and it would likely benefit from some injections of personality. If I was playing backseat designer, I’d love to see the addition of conversations with regular patrons or some extra narrative dressing around the special events.
