Steelrising is an action-adventure role-playing game developed by Spiders a French game studio behind the critically acclaimed Greedfall series, taking place in an alternate history 1789, France where Mesmerism or Animal Magnetism (the study of invisible forces that presided in all living things) was proved to be real, creating a scientific revolution that allowed the Louis XVI to stay in power by creating robot armies suppressing the eventual French revolution, creating a reign of terror never before seen in the country’s history.
