SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated is an action–adventure video game that is developed by Purple Lamp Studios and published by THQ Nordic.

A remake of the cult classic is back! Get to choose from SpongeBob, Patrick, and Sandy and put a stop to Plankton’s evil plans to rule Bikini Bottom.

Plankton has unleashed his army robots and it is up to you to save Bikini Bottom. You can choose to play as SpongeBob, Patrick, or Sandy, each one having their own unique special skills. Throughout your adventure, you get to meet numerous familiar faces found on the hit show.

This is one of the best SpongeBob games ever made and it has been faithfully remade with high-end visuals and modern resolutions. The gameplay has been polished as well.

Also, a brand new horde mode multiplayer has been added which can be played with up to two players, online and offline.

Some restored content that had been cut from the original game will be seen in this Rehydrated version like the Robo Squidward boss fight and many more.
