Split Second is an arcade racing video game developed by Black Rock Studio and published by Disney Interactive Studios. In Split Second, players take part in a fictional reality TV program where racers compete for money and glory. Participants perform stunts like jumping, drafting and drifting to fill up the powerplay bar. Once activated, special events occur on the track like explosions or collapsing buildings to wreck opponents and win the race. Split Second is not your typical racing game. Aside from being an excellent driver, players are challenged to dodge obstacles and accidents initiated by other competitors. The game is all about powerplays on how one plays his cards carefully. Timing and focus are just two of the factors that players should enhance to maximize the advantages of the powerplays. Players can do single player campaign or multiplayer modes to race with other players worldwide. In Singe player campaign, players join a fictional reality TV show competing for money and glory. One of the highlights of multiplayer mode is the Multiplayer Survival where a racer wins the game by being the last one to survive the course.
