Shenmue I & II is an action, adventure, role-playing video game that is developed by D3T and published by SEGA. The game was originally released for Dreamcast in 2000 and 2001.

The year is 1986 in Japan, your character Ryo Hazuki a jujitsu artist reaches his father’s Dojo. Here, he witnesses his father’s murder. The murderer is a Chinese man named Lan Di. Aside from the murder, Lan Di also steals a mysterious artifact called the Dragon Minor. At this time Ryo is set out for revenge and hunts Lan Di.

Shenmue I will have Ryo travel around Yosuka Japan to gather clues about the murder of his father. This won’t be an easy task though as Lan Di’s gangsters are out to get you too.

Shenmue II will continue Ryo’s quest but this time he will be going to Hong Kong China. Ryo has no choice but to go deep into the criminal underworld. He must upgrade his skill so he meets with martial arts masters who will help him in his quest as well as give him an idea about the mysterious Dragon Minor and why his father had to die for it.

Shenmue I & II offers a 3D open world where the player can search for clues, examine objects and talk to NPCs. Get to fight enemies as well as bosses with the Hazuki-style jujitsu. You can also enjoy the quick time events (QTEs) and the cute mini-games.
