Rocksmith is a casual, simulation videogame developed by Ubisoft – San Francisco and published by Ubisoft. This is the realest music game that is out there. You can plug in any real guitar or bass to your computer using a 1/4” output jack. Acoustic guitars can also be plugged in, but it may need additional hardware. Using a real guitar, real music and real frets you will not only enjoy the game but you will also hone your skills at playing the guitar or bass. On screen it will show you a fret board that will have rectangular boxes for you to follow as cords. Each cord that you hit perfectly will add to the note density or the difficulty. So if by chance you are not hitting the cords correctly the games difficulty will ease off making it virtually hard to fail the song. As you complete songs and get enough “Rocksmith points” you will be able to unlock some of the game’s special features like new guitars and bass, new venues as well as new game modes.
