Nova Drift is a space-themed Twin Stick shooter and Rougelite combined, developed by Chimeric Studios, it features a simplistic arcade art style reminiscent of Asteroids. The gameplay revolves around defeating wave after wave of enemies and upgrading your ship to deal with the increasing number of threats. Dying is permanent so if you die you have to start all over again, but don’t worry with access to over 200 modular upgrades you are guaranteed to have a different build every time.    

• The more you defeat enemies the more upgrades you can acquire, watch as the ship you have at the beginning rapidly evolves into a monster, runs are typically short so you don’t have to wait for long.
• Be creative and cunning experiment with different chains of upgrades to get powerful synergies, treat it like a deck-building game.
• Fight with over 20 different enemy types that all have unique attacking patterns, weapons, and movements, there are also the variants more powerful versions of the normal enemies, they have significantly more health and advanced fighting patterns, on top of that there are also the bosses which are an entirely different can of worms.
• With every roguelike type of game, everything is randomly generated keeping every run intense and unpredictable.

What makes Nova Drift work so well is how it takes the classic Asteroids format and gives you room to not just shoot everything down but find your own way to do it.  Nova Drift is a big, endless, beautiful universe of arcade combat, fusing the modern indie gaming style with the deepest roots of gaming history.
