Nobunaga’s Ambition : Sphere of Influence is a turn-based grand strategy role-playing simulation video game developed and published by Koei. NOBUNAGA’S AMBITION: Sphere of Influence is like the Total War games but with a lot more empire management and less focus on controlling combat. The build up with empire management is very slow, so battles will not happen until you have taken the time to develop your empire. In battles, your generals have “special abilities” that can be used to give an edge in battle; these tend to make the battles more reliant on proper use of abilities more so than anything else. Battles have become more dynamic with new fields and situations being added requiring more tactical planning and troop controls than before, this is a viable and enjoyable playstyle which only Nobunaga’s Ambition can offer. Recreate the “Battle of Sekigahara” your way and as realistic as it gets! Best Nobunaga’s Ambition game to date. Nobunaga’s Ambition games were great since Lord of Darkness and now Sphere of Influence surpasses every previous title in every way. Overall, a very excellent strategy game from Koei.
