Minecraft Dungeons is an isometric action RPG a spin-off of the popular Minecraft franchise reminiscent of games like Diablo and Torchlight franchise, in the game you play as a brave hero trying to stop the evil and cruel Arch-illager from taking over the overworld. The Arch-illager was once a normal villager named Archie before he turned evil, he was shunned in his home village. He left the village eventually and wandered off into the overworld until he stumbled upon an artifact with immense power, the “orb of dominance” using it he united the Illager tribes into one banner. But the Orb has its price in exchange for great power The Arch-illager’s mind became warped and twisted he dreamed that whole world to fear him not unless our heroes have something to say about it.
I’ve already sunk several hours into the game as I dive deeper into the endgame difficulty tiers, getting wrecked by empowered Slimes with additional armor and flame trails just makes me want more powerful loot even more. That familiar, satisfying addiction that comes with loot-oriented games like this has already gripped me, owing to the game’s persistently fulfilling combat.
