Medal of Honor: Airborne is an action adventure first-person shooter video game set during the World War II campaign and is focused only on paratrooper activities. It was developed by EA LA and was published by EA Games. Medal of Honor: Airborne features an exciting multiplayer mode available for online gaming where players have the option of fighting the Allies and parachuting down to the battlefield, or fighting for the Axis starting from the ground, defending their position from enemy paratroopers. Aside from multiplayer mode, the game has a single player mode where the player takes on the role of PCF/CPL Boyd Travers. Boyd is part of the US 82nd Airborne division where his mission includes various insertions to northern France, the Netherlands, Italy and Germany. Each mission begins with a jump behind the enemy lines. Cutscenes are shown at the beginning of the game and also inside the aircraft preparing to jump. Weapons such as grenades are upgradable by killing enemies. Additional points are given for taking an accurate head-shot as well as tactical melee kills. As the player progresses in the game, the more difficult the enemies will be to kill. Prepare yourself for war and be skilled enough to survive!
