L.A. Noire is a single-player action–adventure video game developed by Team Bondi and published by Rockstar Games.

The game is set in year 1947, in the city of Los Angeles. The player acts as a Police Officer named detective Cole Phelps, who works for the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) to solve cases across five divisions. The player will have to go to crimes scenes to look for clues and leads and interrogate suspects. The player’s success will depend on the progress of his investigation and how much impact each case’s story is revealed.

In the game, Cole Phelps will have partners who will help him in his investigation of a number of cases based on a specific type of crime. You will be assigned a case where in which you must solve. After each case, you will receive a rating of 1-5 starts depending on the your performance in solving the case.

L.A. Noire also comes with an investigative element with fast-paced action sequences, including criminal chases, gunfights, interrogations and combat. You will have the option to use melee attacks and firearms to fight the enemies as you progresses into the game. You can also run, jump or use vehicles to travel around the city.
