HUMANKIND – Cultures of Africa Pack is an African themed DLC for HUMANKIND developed by AMPLITUDE Studios, thousands of years of rich African history await you in HUMANKIND’s first DLC, home to over 1billion people and 1500 languages.  

• Mainly, the cultures of Africa pack contain 6 new cultures you can spec into:
  • Bantu – Available in Era 1 an expansionist culture that has migrated across Africa 6000 years ago creating many population centers across the continent.
  • Garamantes – Available in Era 2 they are an Agrarian culture that existed between the 4th century BCE and the 3rd century, they are true farmers of the desert able to adapt to desert climate thanks to their knowledge of underground water sources.
  • Swahili – Available in Era 3 they are a mercantile culture that existed between the 10th and 15th centuries scattered along the east African coastline their settlements were often deeply connected with trade routes running across the Indian ocean.
  • Maasai – Available in Era 4 they are an Agrarian culture that existed Between the 16th and 17th centuries they are one the main groups who have dominated the land between the great lakes and the great rift.
  • Ethiopians – Available in Era 5 they are a Militarist culture that existed from the 19th century great rulers ruled over Ethiopia which allowed for significant territorial expansion and its increase in its military capacity was also the basis for its success.
  • Nigerians – Available in Era 6 this Agrarian culture has the peculiarity of bringing together in the same state immense diversity of different peoples and cultures the largest oil and agrarian producer in the region thanks to its diverse and fertile lands.
• Additionally, there are 5 new wonders; Mount Kilimanjaro, Victoria Falls, Zuma Rock, Lake Natron, and the Great Mosque of Djenné, 7 independent peoples, 15 new narrative events, and 18 new in-game themed music tracks composed by Arnaud Roy.
