Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number, the sequel to Hotline Miami, is a 2D top-down, action video game developed by Dennation Games and published by Devolver Digital. The game features 13 new playable characters, all having a different interpretation to the game’s story. Each player has their own special abilities and advantages. Game play is similar to that of Hotline Miami, but with added features. A hard mode is available upon finishing the game’s normal mode. In hard mode, the enemies will be tougher to kill and your “enemy-locking” capabilities will be disabled. A level editor is also made available, enabling you to use dialogue crafting to create new original stories. The levels are larger and distances are longer, creating a feel of a different type of game play. The game’s story shows what happened before and after the incidents of Hotline Miami, but mainly focusing on the impact that the former protagonist, “Jacket” has  for massacring the entire Russian Mafia upon the request of the cryptic messages the received on his phone.
