Gunfire Reborn is an FPS rogue-lite with RPG elements, at the start of the game you pick a hero to play as to start dungeon crawling with, you start with a base weapon with infinite ammo that scales with your level but as you progress through the stages you will find different types of weapons to grab but these weapons will have a finite amount of ammo and you can only carry 2 of them. At the moment the game has four stages that progressively get harder each one ending in a boss fight. As with the nature of roguelikes, replayability is at its core dying is means you have to start all over again, and finishing the game the first time is just the beginning.  

• Currently, you can play as 4 heroes The crown prince, Ao Bai, Qing Yan, and Lei Luo each of these heroes have unique abilities and characteristics you can upgrade as you complete more stages. Ao Bai for example can throw normal grenades that damage enemies or energy balls that can freeze enemies in place for a set amount of time, after a while he can pick a skill that lets him dual wield weapons.
• There are a plethora of weapons you can find in Gunfire reborn from pistols, rifles, submachine guns, shotgun, etc. each of these weapons can be found enchanted by different damage types fire, lightning, corrosion, etc. these damage types are strong or weak against different enemy types corrosion, for example, deals extra damage to armored enemies.
• All of the stages are procedurally generated so some elements of the stages are always randomized, while some aspects can be constant. From the different heroes, the over 100 weapon types, and the procedurally generated stages gunfire reborn is built to be infinitely replayable.

Reviews

Gunfire Reborn is a strong first-person shooting rouge-like title, with well-tuned challenging engagements. There is a lot of potentials for this title to expand and the developers are actively looking for more feedback to improve the title. I was very skeptical of the title, but after watching others play it, I felt the need to try it for myself.
