Greak: memories of Azur is an action-adventure platformer with Metroidvania elements in it, you take on the role of three magical Courine siblings Greak, Adara, and Raydel refugees trying to escape the land of Azur due to an Urlag Invasion, you can alternate control between them and use each of their unique abilities to your advantage solve environmental puzzles and defeat the Urlag’s that block your way. While the war between the Courine and the Urlags has been going on for a long time, it’s just recently reached the Courine’s homeland, at the start of the game the siblings will be separated and your main goal will be to reunite them with the ultimate goal of escaping.  

• The entire game is presented in a beautifully hand-drawn 2D art style including the multitude of cinematic clips that play during key moments throughout the game.
• Some of the specially crafted puzzles scattered throughout the game can only be solved by cooperation between the 3 siblings, while you can just cycle control between them you can also control all of them together.
• The areas you will be exploring are filled to the brim with Urlag enemies of different varieties if you have the chance to rescue any Courine prisoners that you may encounter.

Greak is a fairly affordable game on Steam also, so if you’re in the market for a game like Ori without the price tag before sales. Pickup Greak, it’s a wonderfully cute game perfect for winding down after work or ignoring the stresses of Covid lockdowns.
