Gordian Quest is a party-based, deck-building RPG inspired by old-school classics like Ultima and D&D using modern gaming conventions and mechanics like a roguelike and turn-based strategic combat developed by Mixed Realms Pte Ltd and Swag Soft Holdings Pte Ltd. A sinister curse has corrupted the land, darkness reigns, monsters roam, and scoundrels pillage, but heroes will emerge to fight back. Lead them on a grand adventure to save what’s left of the world and destroy the root of the evil that has infected this world. Form a party of heroes whom you will have to lead and manage whilst going on grueling missions. Help them forge bonds with each other and discover new skills among them. Will you fall at the claws of your enemies or the consequences of your poor decisions?  

• There are 4 game modes you can explore while playing Gordian Quest:
  • The Campaign Mode lets you venture through 4 acts taking you to the troubled lands of Westmire to the enigmatic Sky imperium.
  • Realm Mode – a fast-paced Rougelite mode where you have to fight an ever-changing version of the game with unpredictable threats and rewards.
  • Adventure Mode – an end-game mode where you can go and explore different procedurally generated areas or take on solo challenges.
  • Skirmish Mode – a 1 vs 1 game mode where you pit your party against another player.
• Pick from a pool of 10 heroes each having their own unique class, skills, and playstyles the Swordhand, Cleric, Ranger, Scoundrel, Spellbinder, Druid, Bard, Warlock, Golemancer, or the Monk. They have a combined total of close to 800 passive and active skills, allowing players to discover and formulate their favorite combos.
• Train your heroes and equip them with a large selection of weapons, armor, and enchanted trinkets in order to enhance their abilities. But later on, more powerful and mysterious items can appear that can bless your heroes while also simultaneously crippling them in other areas.

If you are a fan of deckbuilding card battlers, with a dash of RPG, then Gordian Quest is the best of the bunch. While there are a few tutorial elements and stability challenges to attend to, the endless replayability and randomization element makes every run unique.
