Darksiders 2 is an action role-playing hack and slash video game developed by Vigil Games and published by THQ (now known as Nordic Games). It is a direct sequel to Darksiders. The most feared of the legendary Four Horsemen goes on an epic quest to restore mankind, and redeem his brother’s name. Along the way, the Horseman discovers that there are far more despicable things than an Apocalypse, and that an ancient grudge may threaten all of mankind. Play as play as Death and become the most powerful of the Four Horsemen. Darksiders 2 contains all the best elements of its predecessor, and introduces novelties like RPG elements in form of a looting system and skill tree. It features enhanced combat mechanics by adding several secondary weapons and an increased agility in the character itself, resulting in a more fluid and diversified combat. Darksiders 2 is an engaging, well-crafted Action-RPG that features characteristics from some of the best games of its generation to create a fun distraction for fans of the ‘hack-n-slash’ genre. The worlds you get to explore are a cut apart. The environment’s design is simply breathtaking and awe inspiring. Great gameplay topped up with an amazing story made this a favourite.
