Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc is a murder mystery adventure video game developed by Spike Chunsoft Co., Ltd. and Abstraction Games, published by Spike Chunsoft Co., Ltd.

You will find yourself in Hope’s Peak Academy, where you can see Japan’s finest high school students. You will play as Makoto Naegi who along with his classmates gets stuck inside the school. They will later find out that a strange bear-like character has actually detained them in the school without any communication with the world outside.

The bear-character named Monokuma announces that whoever can kill one of their classmates and gets away with it will have his or her freedom. To determine who the murderer is, a mock classroom trial will ensue, where investigations and finding contradictions will be the main gameplay.

Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc has two styles of gameplay: you will have the School Life and Class Trials. The School Life has two sections which are the Daily Life and Deadly Life. The Daily Life is the student’s regular life where they can interact with everybody and the Deadly Life is the time when someone gets murdered and you investigate the place.

Class Trials are mostly the main part of the game. You will have to debate and argue and even contradict the other player’s arguments to get to know the real killer is.
