Chorus is a space-combat shoot-em-up game developed by German studio Fishlabs and Deep Silver, step into the shoes of an ace-pilot/runaway fugitive Nara as she fights to free herself from her haunting past, from the very people that created her. Fight a dark cult across a galaxy-spanning adventure together with her sentient AI spaceship Forsaken, explore ancient temples, engage in dogfights in the vastness of outer space, and journey through the edge of reality.  

• Travel through the galaxy and the boundaries of reality to destroy an insidious cult named “The Circle” the people that used her as a living weapon, led by a charismatic cult leader called the Great Prophet.
• Takedown groups of starfighters, giant battleships, and unknowable void creatures, but whatever you do you can’t fight them all alone, you must form a united resistance against them.
• The Forsaken is a powerful ship with its unique Drift Mechanic, but she could still use some more upgrades which you can find scattered throughout the galaxy distinct weapons and combat upgrades. A product of the cult’s experiments, Nara herself has powerful telekinetic abilities, teleportation, and extra-sensory perceptions. Use your powers in conjunction with Forsaken’s to create powerful combos.

By the time I rolled credits, there was no doubt that Chorus was the best space combat game I’ve played in years. The thrill of dynamic space combat coupled with a compelling narrative and overall superb design make this one an absolute a must-play.
