• Your webcam is utilized by the game to completely immerse you in this narrative. Through priceless recollections of family, first love, and the ascent of an artistic career, you will learn to control the narrative with your actual eyes-blinking.
• If you don’t show the Ferryman what he needs to see, he’ll think you’re not being honest. As a result, he will push you to go further into the shadowy corners of your most suppressed memories, eventually disclosing a devastating truth.

Telling a gut punch of a story with novel gameplay mechanics is no small feat, and Before Your Eyes marvelously delivers on both fronts. Just as Edith Finch and Firewatch before it told stories only games can tell and used mechanics we would likely never see borrowed elsewhere, Before Your Eyes feels like it’s immediately timeless and permanently unique.
