Assassin’s Creed Valhalla the Siege of Paris is the third major DLC of AC Valhalla, the village of Ravensthorpe is visited by two strangers, Viking colonists and an ambassador who comes from the lands of Francia (modern-day France) wishing to recruit others to join them in their fight against Charles the Fat the newly crowned king of the Carolingian dynasty, while hesitant at first Eivor accepts this request after hearing of the kings’ ambitions on England and the treasures they might loot after. But after their arrival, not all is what it seems to be, plots abound betrayals, hidden cults, all culminating in the long and drawn-out siege of Paris.  

• Open-ended infiltration missions make their return in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla the Siege of Paris infiltrate the besieged castle and assassinate persons of interest even the king itself? it’s up to you how you reach your target with multiple choices in mind, but you will still have a choice in the end if you want to assassinate them or not.
• Join the tripartite alliance of three notable Viking Leaders Siegfried, Sinric, and Rollo, in their quest to bring down Charles the fat and their role in the Titular Siege of Paris, based on a real historical event that happened centuries ago.
• Explore the beautiful Frankish countryside and sail your boat across the iconic River Seine.

Reviews

The Siege of Paris is a very enjoyable step up from Wrath of the Druids and leaves you wanting more, in a good way. If this is indeed the final big expansion for Valhalla, it’s a high note to end on. Paris and the surrounding countryside are gorgeous, and the new gameplay additions mix things up enough to feel worthy of a paid DLC.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: The Siege of Paris is less of an expansion and more of a continuation, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. While Eivor’s character development seemed to take a step backward, fans of the base game will still enjoy another 10 or so hours of gameplay thanks to Francia’s new storyline, characters, weapons, and abilities.
